Gear Case End Cover

The gear case end cover closes the gearbox, carries bearings and keeps lubricant in and dirt out. TR Manufacturing die casts custom end covers for gear cases, reducers and drive units. A380/A360/ADC12 aluminum alloys are die cast for high strength and pressure tightness. Wall thickness and rib layout are optimized to prevent distortion after machining. Flatness of the sealing face is controlled to gasket or RTV requirements; covers for oil-filled cases are leak tested before shipment.
