Plastic Camera Box Assembly

The camera box is a multi-part plastic assembly that holds and protects the camera module. TR Manufacturing produces such assemblies entirely in-house: we mold every plastic component and deliver the box fully assembled, ready for your electronics.

Parts are molded in ABS or PC/ABS for impact resistance and dimensional stability. Where transparency is needed - lens windows or indicator covers - PMMA or clear PC is used. All materials can be matched to UL94 flammability requirements if the box houses powered electronics.

Assembly methods are chosen per design: snap fits and screws for serviceable boxes, ultrasonic welding for sealed ones. Assembly jigs ensure consistent alignment, and gasket channels are molded in for dust or water resistance.

Each assembled unit is function-checked: closure feel, gap uniformity, window clarity and fit of your module are verified on samples before mass production. Dimensional reports support the approval process.
